Panthers - PSC - WW2V15012 - Test vehicle finished

Hello everyone

Yet another small update today. Since I still haven't been able to get any proper work done, I decided I atleast could get the test panther finished. Actually I isn't totally finished since I'm probably going to do a bit of sod on the exhaust with my airbrush at some point, but otherwise I think its basically there.

Nothing much to say about the detail painting really, so I'll just show some pictures of the finished result.

If you have any questions please feel free to post them below :) constructive criticism is always appreciated aswell.

Hope you liked it :)

Chris

  1. I like the grey tools. They look really neat. The weathering tones down some of the chipping from before. A really nice finished vehicle. I'm impressed that the green stuff welds show up on the finished model.

One thing that I thought may look a little funny. You have used metallic paint on the spare tracks but have done grey for the tools. I might also add some more of the metal colour to the main tracks as I think the spare tracks look very nice.

    Good work!

    1. Thanks Cameron :D yeah I dunno why I do the grey tools instead of metal, maybe it's because I just feel it looks better in this scale hmm

The spare tracks are actually painted the exact same way as the main tracks :) just without being dusted :)

    1. Of course Julien :-) In my previous post I sort of describe it, and if you would like to have a look at a true artist doing it then I would recommend this youtube video (and also part 1 and 3 )

  3. I painted recently a Panther in similar colours, also from Plastic Soldier, and is a really good model. Nice job!
