Sherman Platoon (1) - Battlefront - Open Fire - Continued

Hello everyone!

So I've been trying to get some work done on my Open Fire Sherman (well 3 of them atleast, still many to go...). I painted these Shermans with little to no reference the only thing I figured out was that british tanks was a different shade of green compared to their american counterparts, and since I didn't have this color I had to improvise something. 

Considering that I have never painted an allied FoW vehicle before and that the last allied vehicle I painted was 3 years ago, I think they turned out quite alright. 

I'm currently repainting a few things because I wasn't happy with them, but I took the pictures before I decided to do this :-p also a few things that still need painting but will probably be done tomorrow.

I don't think any sherman ever got this "worn" or any vehicle during the war really, but I'm just practicing. The weathering could definitely have been better and hopefully the next batch of shermans will be even better.

But first it's Stug time. 

Update - 19.05.2014

So I did some repainting today and now I think they basicly just need a coat of matt varnish
